We went to the doctor today for our 6 month check up. They both gained 19oz since their last weight check at the beginning of the month. Addison now weighs 11.12 and is 24 inches. Xavier weighs 12.9 and is 23.5 inches. They also got a couple shots today...so it was a little loud in the room.
We are still working on tummy time. Addison doesnt mind it but brother on the other hand shows off his lungs when he has to do it. Help me Grow comes out once a month right now to check their progress and give suggestions. They were here last week and said they look good. We just need to get Xavier use to having weight on his arms and shoulders.
John seems to be the only person to get them to giggle. He does random things that gets them going. He is a great daddy!!

What's Tummy Time?
ReplyDeletePersonally "tummy time" generally involves Chipotle but I imagine it's a little different for X & A. :)
You put them on their tummy with their arms under them so they can work on raising their head off of the floor and look around. Then they will start to push up on their arms. This all leads to crawling.
