The babies are doing good. I go every day to be with them. I got to hold Xavier today and we (I) read a book to him. I know he enjoyed it beyond belief :) Both of them are having apnea episodes. The nurses and Dr. have told me a million times that for their gestation it is normal and expected. So, I have come to realize that it is going to happen and they ARE doing great.
Xavier gained an oz, so he is at 2.7 and Addison stayed the same. Xavier got his PIC line out of his arm. One less 'cord' in the way! Hopefully tomorrow both will be out from under their lights. The Dr. said this should be the last time they will need them. So tomorrow I will snap a few more pictures to post. When they are under the lights it makes their skin look 'funny'. Today daddy discovered that Xavier's hair is lighter (he said blond) than Addison's hair. I don't think it is blonde, it just is lighter than Addison's. She has more than him too.
I love them very much and it makes me sad that they have to be there, but I know they are in good hands. I look forward to the day they get to come home. I just wish I had an exact date. Many of you know that I am a schedule type of person, I need dates and times!!

I am happy to hear that the babies are doing so good...I check this blog many times a day waiting for up dates. Okay, you wanted a date, it will be in 2010 lol.... and a time, well that one I don't have yet lol. I can not wait to hold them and give them tons of GREAT Auntie Donna kisses lol. Give them a kiss for me if your allowed. Hang in there momma, your doing great... just don't forget to take care of yourself too. If you don't take care of yourself then you can't help take care of them. :) love ya!
ReplyDeleteThat is great news!!!!! I agree with Donna. Make sure you are getting enough sleep and just relax at home. It sounds like they are in great hands! Keep your chin high:)
